You're a such a good mom, Josephine. I totally agree with your style of parenting- discipline with love, strict yet flexible, and teaching by setting an example rather than just words. It is also good to sit down and evaluate where the family is heading, because we may find ourselves slacking over time so it is nice to be able to evaluate and re-direct ourselves.

Take courage ... keep your eyes on the Lord!!! It's natural to feel sad and down (I'm sad you're leaving) ... but then as I learnt once, it's best to move if the Lord is leading the way and "will be moving anyway" than to stay alone against His will when "He has gone on to Adelaide" expecting me to follow!! (I know that's not really true as the Lord WILL be with us wherever we go, but that's the way I looked at it once!!!).
He will have great blessings in store for you all ... I love you heaps!!!

Thanks Ee Laine! Esther's cake was a very easy cake (package butter cake mix, pink icing, chocolate fingers, pink smarties). Hehehe this is funny, but don't you find rummaging through your bag for something frustrating? Initially I too didn't get a nappy bag and used some of my own bags but have destroyed it because of the sheer volume of things. Splurged and bought a proper one instead, couldn't be happier.
Still can't believe you managed to fit all of that in the bag.

I would like to know when we're going back too. I just got my Australian citizenship and now just waiting for the actual citizenship ceremony to get my paper then I can apply for Australian passport. Also with Dane's new job he can't just leave the country he has to apply for permission. I don't want to go back with 2 kids by myself - that would be a huge challenge on the plane and everything. SO, when??? We plan to go back maybe Dec this year. Love to catch up with you then.

Thanks for your supports! It's hard being separated for such a long time and I just got the news that he's going to be away for an extra 4 weeks so from the original 11 weeks to 15 weeks. :( But we are coping with God's abundant grace.

Haven't caught up with what was happening with you since the "married single mum" post. I trust you had a wonderful time with hubby at Christmas and now having to be on your own again, its so difficult. Am thinking of you and praying for you.
I try to teach my son a bit about God as well. You can almost see his mind ticking and working so hard to understand that 'we cannot see God but He can see us' and cares for us. One day he got upset because we forgot to pray for God to heal his skin and we had to close of eyes and pray again.
